Owner and Founder

Owner and Founder

Ellah Nota is the owner and founder of the Medical House Call Clinic, LLC. While practicing as a Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care for over 11 years, she noticed the severe challenges that her patients with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities faced when trying to get to the doctor’s office versus her other panel of patients that she was seeing twice a week in a home setting. She noticed a difference in their temperament, quality of life and accessibility to care.

This inspired her to dedicate her career to start a medical house call practice targeted specifically to adults who are home bound and those with Intellectual and developmental disabilities and help improve access to care and health care outcomes.

Ellah Nota earned her Doctorate degree (DNP) from Thomas Jefferson University in 2016 and her Master of Science in Nursing in 2011 from the University of Akron. She is licensed by the Commonwealth Board of Nursing as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP), Board certified in Adult Health Specialty by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
